> As another cold front approaches late this evening and throughout
> the day Wednesday, expect a few additional clouds in the afternoon
> tomorrow. A stray shower cannot be ruled out, although this front
> should be fairly dry. Southerly flow really picks up Thursday and
> Friday and this will not only bring up humidity levels, it will
> also cause temperatures to warm!! The end of the week looks toasty
> with highs in the upper 80’s. Despite a slight chance of a stray
> shower Thursdsay, our best shot for rain still looks to come into
> the picture for the weekend. The position of an area of high
> pressure that will set up across the region Thursday will be the
> key factor in determining how strong this front will be. If the
> high pressure stands firm, this system will go up and around us
> like previous systems. However, if the high pressure weakens, we
> could actually see a decent shot of cooler air. We will have to see
> how the models handle this forecast in the next few runs.

I have uploaded a 3 part video about the Kentucky Almanac on youtube: http://youtube.com/bobbyclarklex
The Kentucky Almanac was first published by John Bradford from Lexington Kentucky in 1788. He published the first newspaper west of the Allegheny Mountains called the Kentucky Gazette on August 11, 1787.
