I was just messing around at the Democrat’s site, and ran across an editorial of Donald’s that I had missed. It is well worth reading. While I fully agree with all points made, there was one portion that stood out in my mind. Below is that portion of what Donald wrote:
Opinions are needed from all age, gender, race and ethnic groups. I grew up here, and I know that if you’re not over 60 and have the right socio-economic background or the right family tree, most people will dismiss what you say.
That’s probably going to make some people mad, but this concept is not my own making. I’ve heard person after person say the same thing.
Diversity of ideas must be sought, it won’t come to us on its own. And when it’s found, it must be acknowledged.
So, just for fun, should anyone actually read this, and they be from Cynthiana, I am requesting comments on this particular passage. I wanna know what you think.
