Thank You

There are sill a great many things which I would love to talk about, yet I am still lacking the time necessary to do so.  How I would love for all of the troubles I am facing to calm. To have the ability to relax and write again would be so wonderful.

There is one thing, however, I would like to share, and therefore I am taking these few short minutes to do so.

Yesterday evening, when we returned home, we discovered an envelope in the mail which bore the Housing Authority’s return address. Worry and fear filled our hearts as we laid eyes upon the unopened envelope. With all the negative punches that have been thrown our way, we believed that this would be one more painful blow to our bruised skins.

When the envelope was finally opened, and the contents were shown, I came very close to crying.

Connie had endorsed and sent us a voucher to receive food items from the local pantry.

Amidst all we have endured a kind gesture from outside made its way through, and found us.  I believe that moment was the first in weeks where both Diana and I felt joy of such magnitude.

I would now like to declare this entry as a public “Thank you” to Connie, the Housing Authority, the pantry, and anyone else who has helped us recently and in the past. Thank you. Thank you all.
