(UNCLASSIFIED)

Caveats: NONE
Be advised,
There is a potential for a severe winter storm beginning in far western
Kentucky around noon tomorrow continuing into Monday night. The temperature
is going to drop over 30 degrees to below freezing. Any precipitation will
turn to ice in the form of either sleet or freezing rain. Potential up to
half an inch of ice and any wet surfaces will freeze beginning late in the
afternoon.
The NWS stated that schools may need to close early in the far western part
of the state.
We should be prepared for emergency response operations, to include
communications support, on-call if we experience down power lines and power
loss.
All Regional Managers ensure your county directors are aware of the
potential.
This weather pattern is predicted to move from the west across the
Commonwealth.
