FREEZING RAIN AND DRIZZLE WILL CAUSE SLICK AND HAZARDOUS
ROADWAYS DURING THE OVERNIGHT HOURS…
.WARM MOIST AIR IS STILL RIDING UP OVER SHALLOW BUT COLD ARCTIC
AIR. THIS WILL LEAD TO LIGHT FREEZING RAIN AND DRIZZLE ACROSS MUCH
OF WEST AND NORTH CENTRAL KENTUCKY…AND ACROSS SOUTH-CENTRAL
INDIANA THROUGH THE OVERNIGHT HOURS.

…WINTER STORM WARNING IS CANCELLED…
THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN LOUISVILLE HAS ISSUED A WINTER
WEATHER ADVISORY FOR FREEZING RAIN…WHICH IS IN EFFECT UNTIL 1 AM
EST /MIDNIGHT CST/ WEDNESDAY. THE WINTER STORM WARNING HAS BEEN
CANCELED.
FREEZING RAIN AND DRIZZLE WILL CONTINUE THROUGH THE NEXT FEW
HOURS. ALTHOUGH AMOUNTS WILL BE LIGHT AND LITTLE ADDITIONAL
ACCUMULATIONS ARE EXPECTED…THIS WILL STILL CAUSE ROADWAYS TO
BECOME VERY SLICK AND HAZARDOUS. TEMPERATURES SHOULD WARM UP
ENOUGH OVERNIGHT HOWEVER THAT THE FREEZING RAIN AND DRIZZLE SHOULD
CHANGEOVER TO JUST RAIN A COUPLE OF HOURS AFTER MIDNIGHT.
A WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY MEANS THAT PERIODS OF FREEZING RAIN
WILL CAUSE TRAVEL DIFFICULTIES. BE PREPARED FOR SLIPPERY ROADS AND
LIMITED VISIBILITIES…AND USE CAUTION WHILE DRIVING.
