THE LATEST WEATHER MODELS SUGGEST INCREASING CHANCES FOR SEVERE
WEATHER FRIDAY AFTERNOON AND EVENING. ISOLATED TO SCATTERED STORMS MAY
DEVELOP ALONG A LINGERING SURFACE BOUNDARY AND LEADING UPPER LEVEL
WAVE DURING THE AFTERNOON HOURS ON FRIDAY. ALTHOUGH THERE IS STILL
SOME UNCERTAINTY IN EXACT TIMING AND LOCATION OF THEIR
DEVELOPMENT…THESE STORMS ARE MOST LIKELY TO START BETWEEN 1 AND
3 PM EDT…NOON TO 2 PM CDT WEST OF INTERSTATE 65. SHOULD THESE
STORMS DEVELOP…THEY WILL BE CAPABLE OF PRODUCING DAMAGING WINDS
AND LARGE HAIL.

FARTHER TO OUR WEST ON FRIDAY AFTERNOON…ADDITIONAL STORMS WILL
DEVELOP ALONG AN APPROACHING COLD FRONT. THESE STORMS AND THE COLD
FRONT WILL MOVE EAST TOWARDS OUR AREA POSSIBLY FORMING A SQUALL
LINE WITH DAMAGING WINDS…HAIL…AND HEAVY RAINFALL. THE BEST
TIME PERIOD FOR THIS LINE OF POTENTIALLY SEVERE STORMS TO CROSS
SOUTHERN INDIANA AND CENTRAL KENTUCKY WILL BE BETWEEN 7 PM TO 2
AM EDT…6 PM TO 1 AM CDT.
