BARDSTOWN...WINCHESTER 451 AM EST MON DEC 31 2012 /351 AM CST MON DEC 31 2012/ ...A LIGHT WINTRY MIX POSSIBLE IN THE MORNING HOURS ON TUESDAY... A DEVELOPING STORM SYSTEM OVER THE SOUTHERN PLAINS WILL BRING THE POTENTIAL FOR A WINTRY MIX OF PRECIPITATION TO PORTIONS OF CENTRAL KENTUCKY AND THE BLUE GRASS IN THE PRE-DAWN HOURS OF TUESDAY THROUGH MID MORNING. AT THIS POINT...THE CHANGE OVER TO FROZEN PRECIPITATION FROM RAIN LOOKS TO BE TOO LATE FOR ANY SIGNIFICANT IMPACT. HOWEVER...LIGHT ACCUMULATIONS AROUND A HALF AN INCH OF SLEET OR SNOW WILL BE POSSIBLE. SOME LIGHT FREEZING DRIZZLE MAY BECOME POSSIBLE THROUGH THE DAY ON TUESDAY. THIS STORM SYSTEM IS HIGHLY COMPLEX AND A SLIGHT SHIFT IN ITS TRACK COULD HAVE A LARGER IMPACT ON PRECIPITATION TYPE AND TOTALS. CAUTION SHOULD BE USED IF TRAVELING TONIGHT OR TOMORROW AS SOME SLICK SPOTS COULD DEVELOP. $$ BJS
