ACCUMULATING SNOW MAY IMPACT TUESDAY MORNING COMMUTE

A FAST-MOVING UPPER-LEVEL DISTURBANCE WILL BRING A QUICK SHOT OF SNOW TO THE OHIO VALLEY LATE TONIGHT AND TUESDAY MORNING. MINOR SNOW ACCUMULATIONS…AROUND 1 INCH…WILL BE POSSIBLE ACROSS PART OR ALL OF THE AREA. THE TIMING WILL BE PROBLEMATIC…AS THERE IS A GOOD CHANCE THAT ACCUMULATING SNOW WILL FALL DURING THE TUESDAY MORNING RUSH HOUR…AND RESULT IN TRAVEL IMPACTS.

THERE REMAINS SOME UNCERTAINTY REGARDING WHERE THE HEAVIEST SNOW WILL FALL. AS THESE QUESTIONS ARE RESOLVED LATER TODAY…A WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY WILL LIKELY BE ISSUED FOR AT LEAST PART OF SOUTHERN INDIANA AND/OR CENTRAL KENTUCKY.
