PRECIPITATION TO THE OHIO VALLEY BEGINNING LATE THIS AFTERNOON AND
CONTINUING THROUGH THE OVERNIGHT HOURS. SIGNIFICANT AMOUNTS OF
SNOW...SLEET AND FREEZING RAIN WILL AFFECT SOUTHERN INDIANA...WITH

* TIMING: PRECIPITATION IS EXPECTED TO BEGIN LATE THIS AFTERNOON
  AND CONTINUE THROUGH THE EVENING. PRECIPITATION WILL BE HEAVY AT
  TIMES THIS EVENING. PRECIPITATION WILL TAPER OFF TO FREEZING
  DRIZZLE AFTER MIDNIGHT.

* MAIN IMPACTS: SNOWFALL AMOUNTS OF 3 TO 7 INCHES ARE EXPECTED
  ACROSS PORTIONS OF SOUTHERN INDIANA...NORTH OF A LINE FROM
  JASPER TO SALEM. SOUTH OF THIS LINE...FREEZING RAIN WILL BE THE
  MAIN PRECIPITATION TYPE....WITH SIGNIFICANT ICE ACCUMULATIONS
  AROUND A QUARTER INCH. THE SNOW AND FREEZING RAIN WILL MAKE
  TRAVEL HAZARDOUS THIS EVENING. THE FREEZING RAIN WILL ACCUMULATE
  ON TREE BRANCHES AND POWER LINES. SHOULD SIGNIFICANT ICING
  OCCUR...POWER OUTAGES ARE A STRONG POSSIBILITY IN SOME AREAS.
