...WIND ADVISORY NOW IN EFFECT UNTIL 4 AM EST /3 AM CST/ EARLY
THIS MORNING...

* WINDS...SUSTAINED SOUTH WINDS OF 15 TO 25 MPH WITH GUSTS OF UP
TO 40 MPH ARE EXPECTED ACROSS THE ADVISORY AREA.

* TIMING...WINDS WILL CONTINUE TO BE STRONG THROUGH THE EARLY
MORNING HOURS...BUT ARE EXPECTED TO DECREASE BEFORE SUNRISE THIS
MORNING AS THE PRESSURE GRADIENT RELAXES.

* IMPACTS...HIGH PROFILE VEHICLES MAY BE BLOWN AROUND BY THE
WINDS. MOTORISTS SHOULD USE CAUTION ESPECIALLY ON EAST-WEST
ROADWAYS. IN ADDITION...SOGGY GROUND CONDITIONS FROM THE
RECENT WARMTH MAY RESULT IN TREES BEING EASILY KNOCKED DOWN
DUE TO THE HIGH WINDS. LARGE TREE BRANCHES BROKEN FROM RECENT
ICING EVENTS MAY ALSO BE DISLODGED AND MAY FALL TO THE GROUND
  AND POSSIBLY ONTO POWER LINES.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A WIND ADVISORY MEANS THAT SUSTAINED WINDS OF 30 TO 39 MPH OR
WIND GUSTS FROM 40 TO 57 MPH ARE EXPECTED. WINDS THIS STRONG CAN
MAKE DRIVING DIFFICULT...ESPECIALLY FOR HIGH PROFILE VEHICLES.
WEAKENED TREES MAY ALSO BE BLOWN OVER AND UNSECURED OUTDOOR
OBJECTS WILL BE BLOWN AROUND BY THE WIND. USE EXTRA CAUTION.
