AN ARCTIC COLD FRONT WILL MOVE IN FROM THE NORTHWEST LATE TONIGHT.
SNOW SHOWERS ARE EXPECTED TO DEVELOP IN ADVANCE AND BEHIND THE
FRONT. SOME OF THE SNOW SHOWERS MAY BE LOCALLY HEAVY AT TIMES
REDUCING VISIBILITY. THE SNOW SHOWERS MAY WILL LIKELY PRODUCE A
LIGHT ACCUMULATION OF SNOW OVERNIGHT.
THE BEST CHANCES OF SNOW ACCUMULATION WILL BE NORTHEAST OF A LINE
FROM HAWESVILLE KENTUCKY TO LIBERTY KENTUCKY. THIS INCLUDES THE
LEXINGTON…LOUISVILLE…FRANKFORT AND ELIZABETHTOWN AREAS. IN
THIS AREA…AN INCH OR LESS OF SNOWFALL WILL BE POSSIBLE
OVERNIGHT.
WITH TEMPERATURES WELL BELOW FREEZING…THE SNOW WILL ACCUMULATE
ON UNTREATED ROADS AND MAY RESULT IN SLICK SPOTS DEVELOPING. IF
