LATE TONIGHT...

THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR PORTIONS OF SOUTHERN INDIANA
AND NORTHERN KENTUCKY.

.DAY ONE...THIS AFTERNOON AND TONIGHT.

A STRONG PRESSURE GRADIENT WILL LEAD TO GUSTY WINDS THIS AFTERNOON
ACROSS THE OUTLOOK AREA. SURFACE WINDS ARE EXPECTED TO HAVE
SUSTAINED SPEEDS OF 20 TO 30 MPH WITH GUSTS UP TO 45 AND PERHAPS
50 MPH AT TIMES THIS AFTERNOON AND EVENING.

A STRONG COLD FRONT WILL PUSH THROUGH THE REGION
TONIGHT...BRINGING A LINE OF THUNDERSTORMS THROUGH THE REGION.
THESE STORMS ARE EXPECTED TO BE STRONG TO SEVERE...WITH DAMAGING
WINDS AND HEAVY RAINFALL BEING THE MAIN THREATS. ISOLATED
TORNADOES WILL ALSO BE POSSIBLE WITH THESE STORMS. AT THIS
TIME...THE BEST TIME FOR HAZARDOUS WEATHER APPEARS TO BE BETWEEN
4PM EST AND MIDNIGHT EST. THE HIGHEST RISK OF SEVERE WEATHER WILL
GENERALLY BE ALONG AND SOUTH OF THE OHIO RIVER.

MODERATE TO HEAVY RAINFALL ASSOCIATED WITH THUNDERSTORMS LATE THIS
AFTERNOON AND EVENING MAY CAUSE FLASH FLOODING IN FLOOD PRONE
AREAS THAT ARE ALREADY SATURATED FROM RECENT RAINS AND SNOWPACK
MELTING.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...FRIDAY THROUGH WEDNESDAY.

A STRONG PRESSURE GRADIENT IS FORECAST TO REMAIN OVER THE AREA ON
FRIDAY. SOUTHWEST SURFACE WINDS MAY GUST UP TO 35 TO 40 MPH
FRIDAY AFTERNOON.
