Morning News – 12/29/14

Been up since 5am and have come to a conclusion; it’s a very slow news morning! Everyone just seems to be repeating wire stories and reading police reports. There aren’t many good interest stories, either… Heck, even this day’s history is slow and boring!

AirAsia flight 8501–which was lost mid-flight from Indonesia to Malaysia on Sunday–has yet to be located, leaving officials to believe that the flight’s wreckage may lie at the bottom of the sea. Earlier reports of the sighting of a possible oil-slick and contacts from flight-recorder pings have been discounted as false rumor. Reports of visible wreckage seen in the area have yet to be confirmed at the time of this writing. The flight was carrying 155 passengers and 7 crew members.
