Time-Record Streaming Audio Revisited Post

In January of 2008, I had discovered a way of recording streaming audio. I had been excited about the prospects of this, as I would then be able to record WCYN‘s audio stream–primarily Coffeebreak–and playback the audio when I was available to hear it. Since that time, I had fallen away from listening to WCYN; WCYN has also changed the service they use for streaming their audio.

I haven’t yet tried to record the stream to see if the old rules stilll apply, but I am fairly confident that they will; as I am currently listening to the stream via Winamp instead of the flash-based pop-up player that WCYN/LiquidCompass supply.

Instructions I’ll be attempting to use again to set up time recording of WCYN’s Coffebreak are available at: https://web.archive.org/web/20151209164214/http://www.minezone.org:80/blog/2006/08/17/record-streaming-radio-using-free-software/
