Bacon or Fakin’?

Monster Pig

If you haven’t seen this thing on the internets, then you haven’t been on the internets.  It’s Monster Pig, and it’s more porky than a house transportation bill.  But is it real…or fake?

Tonight…a Countdown investigation with the only man America can trust during this mutant hog scandal, America’s Zookeeper, Jungle Jack Hannah.  It’s gonna be good.

Apple Hides Account Info in DRM-Free Music

interesting story…

Apple Hides Account Info in DRM-Free Music

Alvis Dark writes “Apple launched iTunes Plus earlier today, the fruit of its agreement with EMI to sell DRM-free music. What they didn’t say is that all DRM-free tracks have the user’s full name and account e-mail embedded in them. Is this to discourage people from throwing the tracks up on their favorite P2P platform? ‘It would be trivial for iTunes to report back to Apple, indicating that “Joe User” has M4As on this hard drive belonging to “Jane Userette,” or even “two other users.” This is not to say that Apple is going to get into the copyright enforcement business. What Apple and indeed the record labels want to watch closely is, will one user buy music for his five close friends?'”

Your Brain is Purple
Of all the brain types, yours is the most idealistic.
You tend to think wild, amazing thoughts. Your dreams and fantasies are intense.
Your thoughts are creative, inventive, and without boundaries.
You tend to spend a lot of time thinking of fictional people and places – or a very different life for yourself.

Acer + Vista + Diana = BIG MESS

So, I’m sitting up late, trying to fix Diana’s notebook.
Have I ever mentioned that I have a disliking for Vista? Well, I do. Of course, I had a disliking for 95 when it came out. I grew to like it though. Win95, that is. Not Vista.
I really started liking Win95 when IE 4 came out, because of the deeper integration of the explorers. That’s why I’m a big fan of 98. 2k is okay. ME sucked. I like XP. I plan to keep XP until I get forced into the next upgrade.
Upgrading is what screwed up Diana’s notebook. I don’t know, I think it was a month ago, Diana filled out the request for a Vista Upgrade disc for my notebook. The disc came in the other day. She asked me if I’d use it, and I told her that I wasn’t interested. She decides to use it on hers. Well, she kinda lost, or Windows misplaced, a ton of files, and things have gone nuts. So, I’ve been working on tracking down her docs, putting them on my pc, and restoring hers back to the day we took it outta the box.
This is taking a while, though…
