So, i watched Countdown last night, and found this story interesting enough to share with anyone who hasn’t seen it. I especially love (sarcasm) the part where Bush stated that we are still in the “early stages”…

I have no idea why, but Diana likes the picture I left as a comment on RadioShack‘s profile…
It of course is a joke. The “product” I am holding is the 2003 RadioShack Catalog, which was not released to the public. It was intended to be run on a demo PC or the defunct MSN Internet Center, for customers to look through – RS Corp. had decided to kill the print catalog.
Anywho, I wound up with a copy of the catalog with a bunch of support discs and other useless RS and Tandy junk from when I worked out there.
This vid isn’t as awesome as the Femmes’ but still pretty cool. I do like the remix of the song though…
So, Walmart took the largest portion of the paper this week…
Is it sad that the opening of the the Supercenter is “big news”?
I’ve been thinking about that for a few days now…
… and it bugs me.
Why is everyone so excited? We had an old wally-world. Now we’ve got a new one, that can sell us groceries and change our tires… what exactly is the big deal? Were we really aching for another grocery and lube center?
Sure, we got 180 new jobs…
…but,
…what if what everyone fears but doesn’t discuss happens? One of the other groceries closes, a service center, a liquor store, and so on, how many jobs will have been lost because of Walmart?
Sure, I honestly do not buy into the hype of Walmart driving other business out. It’s a load of crap to me. The local economy hasn’t suffered since the creation of the dozen or so other supercenters within reasonable driving distance. The only thing I’ve noticed is that the local consumers have gotten more intelligent. They actually shop around now.
Ah, well.
I’m getting tired and can’t rant anymore…
I am honestly afraid…
I don’t know what else to say…
I think I’ve lost Diana…
… and I don’t know what I can do, if anything to get her back…
Oh, Dear God, what can I do?
I’m afraid that it may be too late for me and Diana, with what she’s been saying…
I hope not…
I found this video, scary how it might be fitting…
I was bored, so i started going through my documents and rearranging files. I ran across a couple more old .pst’s that I had forgotten about, and imported all the old emails into my current archive. (I’ve bounced around to several computers over the years, and have tried to keep everything…)
My GDS index is growing now, since the addition of all the old emails I had “lost”. Currently I able to search through 83,053 items…
Diana should be home fairly soon…
For some reason, this song is stuck in my head, and won’t go away…
I’ve been suffering from this for nearly a year now…
