I’ve finished moving all of my old stuff from LiveJournal to here. Yay! I do, however, still have quite a bit of work to do in going through the posts and re-tagging them…

To the best of my knowledge I have all the basics worked out, but wouldn’t be surprised if I run into a few bugs here and there. (I fully expect discovering tons-o-bugs.)

…but, for now, I find myself pleased with what I have done.

I have just completed importing my old entries from LJ, and am in the process of sorting out the posts. Most of the posts show “admin” as the author (where I imported them under that account), and may have issues with formatting or links or whatever…
I’ll also be going back through all those posts and assigning new tags and categories. (don’t be surprised if ya see a category or two disappear as I go through all that stuff.)
anyway… back to work!

Back in May of this year I set up a WordPress installation here, did a bit of tweaking, and let the whole thing sit while I tried to decide what I wanted to accomplish here. At first I had thought that I might try to create my own version of a news outlet for all things related to my hometown of Cynthiana, KY. Then I thought that maybe I could try and establish a network of Cynthiana bloggers. Instead, I have decided to make this place a personal blog. Sort of.

What I think I am aiming for here is a place where I can share anything and everything that I like or do. I’d also like to allow friends the option of writing here on occasion. I’d guess the first one I’ll talk to about this will be my wife, though I doubt if she’ll have much to do with any posts here as she hasn’t written anything on her LJ in months.

So, I guess I’m declaring this as the new home of my blog. Hooray for me.

I am honestly frightened.
I am fearful.
…and what scares me the most is that I cannot think of one single way of taking care of these fears.
I don’t know what to say/write here, for I don’t know whether anything I can say will be helpful or harmful.
…I feel so lost right now.
I never should’ve left the job I had. I never should’ve let that stupid thought of being worthy of more enter my mind. I should’ve stayed put, and been content with what I had. If I had done that, I wouldn’t be so scared.
