Person Injured, Four Cows Killed In Accident

One person was injured and four cows were killed after an overnight accident in Harrison County.

The sheriff’s department says a van crashed into the cows along Kentucky 36, and after the driver got out of his van, a pickup truck slammed into it. The pickup’s driver was taken to a local hospital with non life-threatening injuries.

The sheriff’s department says the road is open, but crews will be back on the scene later this morning to remove the dead cattle.

Navy Buildings Show Symbol of Nazi Germany

Through the use of Google Earth, the Anti-Defamation League in San Diego discovered and lodged complaint against the US Navy for a series of barracks that are arranged in such a manner to give the appearance of a swastika.
The Navy has been appropriated $600,000 to try to camouflage the appearance of the swastika.

hairyfeet writes “Despite Microsoft releasing Windows Vista more than nine months ago the adoption rate has not been as Microsoft hoped. Bowing further to pressure from OEMs and consumers, Microsoft has extended the life of Windows XP, which was due to end sale by OEMs on January 1 next year, to a new date of June 30. Asked if this was an indication of a strong demand for XP, a Microsoft representative sought to downplay the extension, stating ‘We wouldn’t term it strong, we would describe this as accommodating a certain element who needs more time.'”
