Another little quick note. I have discovered yet another reason why I set this laptop down and forgot about it; the battery life sucks. I sat down only about fifteen minutes ago with a “fully charged” battery, and I’ve already dropped to 57%, only doing the simple task of looking through email via mutt. Granted, I have a lot of lightweight network traffic flying, as I access mail and a few other things via network shares, so there’s some other hardware related juices being sucked up, but still. The poor thing is old.
