It’s been a little bit since I’ve written anything.
Been a little busy.
Replaced the whole house water filter with a new unit.
Repaired the washer twice because rust blew through the lines and blocked the cold water valve.
Put new blades on the mower.
Nivea started work yesterday.
It’s just been a little too hectic to find time to sit and write anything.

I dunno.
If I had friends, when would I even get a chance to talk or spend time with them? Way too much of my time is taken up by work and home. And I don’t even get enough time to spend on home stuff as it is.
The last morning of the frozen reset, Dallas asked me about my hobbies. I pretty much gave the same answer I’ve given everyone for the past twenty years; that I really don’t have any hobbies anymore. I don’t have time for hobbies.
I dunno.

Almost an hour until I need to leave for work.

I’m tired.

I actually got to spend time in frozen, and while things are moving along, there are of course things that I would’ve handled differently if I were spearheading the project. But, I mean, everybody likes to say something like that about almost everything that goes on in that store–or in any workplace for that matter. I do find it interesting that one of my criticisms and thoughts for what could’ve been a solution is shared by Ashlee.

*sigh*

I really don’t feel like writing anything. I just thought that maybe I should take advantage of the time I had to sit and do something.

I think I’d rather try to take a nap.

I think I’m gonna go take a nap.

Got home a little bit ago; enough time has passed for me to visit the bathroom, dress down, gather up some laundry for the wash, and sit at the table.

My feet hurt.

It was a pretty good night at work, I guess. Rather than being in frozen, I was directed to go work Claire’s–or the tenant space that had been occupied by Claire’s up until last year; since Claire’s left, the store has been using the space for additional “stockroom” space, primarily for whatever merchandise is being promoted on the “seasonal pad”. At present, Claire’s is being occupied by our BTS–“back to school”–items.

I didn’t have too awful much “live” freight that truly needed to be worked to the floor, so once that task was finished, I spent the remainder of the night “binning” the rest of the merchandise. I do hope that someone gets a chance to go through the room and “pick” it, otherwise all of that work I did to label and stack everything on the walls is kind of a loss. In binning it, however, I did–at the very least–sort things back out, and gave the grandest portion of the merchandise a label carrying the items’ respective locations. Beyond the binning of all that merchandise, someone needs to go back through the seasonal pad and play with the shelf caps (capacity).

I think I’m supposed to actually join the fun in frozen, tonight, so long as no-one gets the idea of having me run any other freight elsewhere. And, no, that’s not a complaint–far from it; I actually liked the task I was given, at least as I understood I was to handle it. I wouldn’t mind tackling any other projects that are tossed to me, either. I just kind of hope that I get to at least touch the one that I thought I was being brought overnight for.

Meanwhile, I just noticed two flaws in my html version of the journal/blog/whatever; 1.) I don’t have a refresh tag to attempt a forced reload of the “posts” page, so that viewers don’t get stuck seeing whatever cached version they may have in their history–I think I remember that being a thing 2.) I don’t list any date/time-stamp in the body of the posts. I guess those are things that I should look into changing sometime in the future.

I dunno. I’m running out of things to say, again. Guess I’ll end it here, and find something else to do, while I wait for Ashlee to come home.

Sitting at the table just killing a little bit of time before I go into work. I’m not sure what I’m expecting when I get there. Ashlee had said that when she had spoken with Hayden that the plan was going to be to have me focus on stocking, and that the primary focus of everyone else would be to set the mods.

I tinkered with the taillights on the truck. It looks like the one just needs a new bulb for now. I do need to trace the wiring, because it looks like the parking light isn’t working, but the brake light does. Honestly, I need to replace the sockets for both sets of taillights and reverse lights. I also need to see about fixing the marker lights that Dad had put on the rear, below the taillights. The marker lights aren’t necessary, but the added lighting is a nice backup if the others burn out. If I’m remembering right, Dad installed those lights when he was trying to figure out a wiring issue.

I dunno. Guess I’ll see what else I can tinker around with, as I can’t think of anything else to write.
